The M2 Multi AAD is a one pin automatic activation device that provides automatic cutting of the closing loop of the reserve parachute in cases where safety of the parachutist is in danger. It is constructed and produced on the basis of latest research focused on parachuting. Its function fully complies with the requirements of current parachuting. Professional design engineers participated in the development and they are also excellent parachutists.
The M2 Multi is a 5 in 1 multi mode. Student, Intermediate, Professional, Canopy Piloting and Tandem. Activation altitude may be changed by user.
Upon activation, M2 Multi operates fully automatically. The metal parts are made from stainless steel or aluminium alloy. The main features of M2 Multi are solid structure, flexible cablet, submersion under water during swooping, simple operation, acceptable price, and quality service. Up to 15 years or 15,000 jumps without maintenance or batter change. Waterproof to 2 metres for 24 hours.

STUDENT (Stu) The STUDENT profile is designed for basic training of students and AFF. It is activated when the height above the landing location is lower than approx. 330m / 1100 ft and fall rate is higher than approx. 13 m/s (29 mph). The altitude lock opens at approx. 450m / 1475 ft. The device does not activate when below approx. 60m / 195 ft. The activation zone is thus in the range of approx. 330m to 60m / 1100 ft to 195 ft above the landing location. Warning: The speed of approx. 13 m/s (29 mph) may be also reached with a fully functional parachute! If the student skydiver does not go on with the jump and lands onboard the aircraft, switch off the M2 Multi device always in the STUDENT setting. If this is not possible, the aircraft must not descend faster than approx. 13 m/s (29) mph.
INTERMEDIATE (Int) The INTERMEDIATE profile is designed for basic training of advanced students and AFF. It is activated when the height above the landing location is lower than approx. 330m / 1100 ft and fall rate is higher than approx. 20 m/s (45 mph). The altitude lock opens at approx. 450m / 1475 ft. The device does not activate when below approx. 60m / 195 ft. The activation zone is thus in the range of approx. 330m to 60m / 1100 ft to 195 ft above the landing location. It is the recommended setting for students after completing the first ten jumps. It is solely upon the decision of the instructor to determine the setting and suitability of its use for a particular student. Warning: The speed of approx. 20 m/s (45 mph) may be also reached with a fully functional parachute! If the student skydiver does not go on with the jump and lands on board the aircraft, switch off the m2 multi device always in the INTERMEDIATE setting. If this is not possible, the aircraft must not descend faster than approx. 20 m/s (45 mph).
PROFESSIONAL (Pro) The PROFESSIONAL profile is the most commonly used setting of the device. Is designed for experienced skydivers. It is activated when the height above the landing location is lower than approx. 270m / 885 ft and fall rate is higher than approx. 35 m/s (78 mph). The altitude lock opens at approx. 450m / 1475 ft. The device does not activate when below approx. 100m / 330 ft. The activation zone is thus in the range of approx. 270m to 100m / 885 ft to 330 ft above the landing location. Warning: The speed of approx. 35 m/s (78 mph) may be also reached with a fully functional parachute!
CANOPY PILOTING (CPi) The CANOPY PILOTING profile is primarily intended for the Canopy Piloting sports discipline. The profile is used only for the most experienced pilots with extremely quick parachutes and vast experience. It is activated when the height above the landing location is lower than approx. 270m / 885 ft and fall rate is higher than approx. 45 m/s (101 mph). The altitude lock opens at approx. 450m / 1475 ft. The device does not activate when below approx. 150m / 490 ft. The activation zone is thus in the range of approx. 270m to 150m / 885 ft to 490 ft above the landing location. Warning: The speed of approx. 45 m/s (101 mph) may be also reached with a fully functional parachute!
TANDEM (TAn) The TANDEM profile is designed for tandem kits. It is activated when the height above the landing location is lower than approx. 610m / 2000 ft and fall rate is higher than approx. 35 m/s (78mph). The altitude lock opens at approx. 900m / 2950 ft. The device does not activate when below approx. 100m (330 ft). The activation zone is thus in the range of approx. 610m to 100m / 2 000 ft to 330 ft above the landing location.
