These boxes come complete with stainless steel mounting screws and an aluminum retaining screw. Cookie BlackBoxes are designed to have only just enough room for your camera. This gives you the most compact and best fitting camera box available. Depending on the box, the BlackBox will fit any flat side or flat top camera headgear, check the table below. The TG1/TG3 box and TG5/7 box will fit wide angle lenses with a 30mm thread size. The wide angle lens screws the the box itself.

Please Note: The 'A' length DOES NOT include the dimensions for the camera lens, battery and or viewfinder. It is only the length of the camera body from front to back.

The Bonehead carbon fiber D-Box is meant for mounting and protecting newer Sony handycams to the side or top of headgear. The new box design features a camera entry from the top where your camera then slides down into the box. A hard carbon fiber hinged top then closes over the top of the camera and is held in place by plastic cable which threads through the aluminum hinges, similar to a door hinge. An extra piece of foam with adhesive backing comes with the box to help shim the camera in place and prevent shaking. These D-Boxes can mounted to any headgear with a flat side or top surface, depending on the box. Power buttons at the rear of the camera are accessible when inside the box. Installation is required and usually involves the drilling of two or three holes. These D-Boxes are camera specific to either the Sony HC, IP PC, or TRV style cameras. Some non-Sony cameras will fit these boxes. Shipping Weight: 2 lbs. (900g).

The camera condom is a protective neoprene cover that fits your video camera like a glove. They are easy to put on and are designed to help protect the camera from dust, condensation, cold weather, lens fog, and damage from riser slap and abrasion. The thermal properties of neoprene insulate your camera from rapid temperature changes which cause condensation, cold weather shutdown, and lens fog. The camera condom is form fitting and eliminates the need for a bulky or non-aerodynamic rigid closure. Please note that the camera condom does not provide any protection against impact such as a rigid enclosure does.

    With a wide-angle lens, you can more easily include foreground subjects and emphasize the distance to the background. A wide-angle lens has a shorter focal distance than a normal lens. From any give spot an image is made with a wide-angle lens, it includes more field of view than with a normal lens. The Diamond 0.3x produces about a 110-degree field of view, the Stealth 0.5x produces about a 67-degree field of view, and the Platinum 0.2x produces about 180-degree field of view (actual field of view depends on your camcorder's specifications). Whether you prefer to use the Diamond 0.3x, the Stealth 0.5x or the Platinum 0.2x depends on how far away you think you might usually want to be from your subject.
    Do you have a JVC, Canon, Hitachi, Panasonic, Samsung or Sharp camcorder? Many of these models come in 27mm or 30.5mm thread sizes.
