The Icarus EXTreme-FX is the
canopy which returns Precision Aerodynamics to the enviable position as the
dominant leader at the top of the canopy performance foodchain. As the
undisputed and uncontested high-speed/high-lift airfoil which defines
ultra-performance in a non-rigid aerial device, the minimum wing loading on the
incredible Icarus EXTreme-FX begins where the others max out at 1.3 lbs. per
square foot, and has been regularly jumped in the Precision Aerodynamics'
factory testing and evaluation program at wing loadings closer 3.0 lbs./sq. ft!
The decision for a skydiver to purchase or jump this canopy should not be
approached lightly, as the Icarus EXTreme-FX is intended only for the most
aggressive and experienced canopy pilots. The Icarus EXTreme-FX is capable of
approach speeds which demand that only the most experienced ram-air pilots even
consider attempting to jump it.
