Para-Cushion
Strong Enterprises was founded in 1960 when they
introduced their first product, and have remained an industry leader in quality
and innovation ever since. Strong Enterprises builds all the
components needed for a complete parachute assembly, the harness and container,
canopy, pilot chute, and all the related parts. The Strong Enterprises
Para-Cushion is available in many different models, with many different
variations on each of these models to ensure the proper fit into your airplane.
Comfort in your cockpit is very important, to this end they
use Confor™ Foam padding everywhere your body applies pressure to the
parachute assembly.
Nickel plated hardware and 1000 denier Cordura® pack cloth are standard
features.
The parachute used in the Para-Cushion is the steerable
Midlite Lopo canopy. This canopy has been in continuous production since 1972.
Over that time they have built over 17,000 of these canopies. The canopy is
equipped with steering toggles.
When you order your Para-Cushion, it will arrive to you with
a fresh Pack date, in a carrying bag, all ready to go.
 PARA-CUSHION
WEDGE 311
This special back mounted
container measures 24" (60cm) tall by 16" (40cm) wide by 1" (3cm)
thick at the shoulder by 3" (7.6cm) thick at the lower back, and weighs approximately 15 lbs. (6.5kg). This unique
configuration allows for maximum comfort of the pilot by using the shape of the
parachute system to put you in a slightly reclined, comfortable position. The
model 311 is recommended for use in airplanes where head room is at a minimum
and the back rest is at a straight upright angle with the seat bottom, such as a
Pitts S1, Pitts Model 12, Christen Eagle, RV-4, RV-6, Harmon Rocket, and many
others. Comes with 26' Midlite canopy.

BACK 303
The standard back
mounted container Model 303 measures 24" (60cm) tall by 16" (40cm)
wide by 3" (7cm) thick, and weighs approximately 15 lbs. (6.5kg).
In many cases by removing the back cushion the pilot may
place the Para-Cushion Back in its place. The Para-Cushion Back is recommended
for use in airplanes where head room is at a minimum such as an ASW-27, a PW-5,
a Cap-10, a Zlin 50, a Christen Eagle, the front seat of an RV-4 and many
others.
Other Para-Cushion Back models are available in different
sizes to accommodate a smaller space, such as in the cockpit of an SU-31. The
Short Back, the Narrow Back and the Short and Narrow back. Comes with 26'
Midlite canopy.

CHAIR 305
This back mounted
container is built to cover the back of the user from the shoulders to just
above the knees. This long design allows the parachute to be packed in a larger
area therefore making the system only 2.5" (6cm) thick. The parachute
assembly is designed to use in airplanes where your seat is reclined such as a
Grob, a Giles 202, the rear seat of an Extra, and many others. The Confor™
Foam padding throughout the system allows the user to fly many long hours at a
time while being very comfortable.
The system measures 42" long (105 cm) by 16" ( 40
cm) wide by 2.5" to 1" thick and weighs approximately 16.5 lb. (7.5
kg). P/N: 124255.

SEAT 304
The Model 304 is designed to be used
in place of a seat cushion. The system's container measures 27" (67cm) tall
by 16" (40cm) wide by 3" (7cm) thick, and weighs approximately 15 lbs.
(6.5kg).
By using an additional Confor™ Foam cushion,
the thickness of the pack may be from 3" to 6" thick depending on the
type of airplane and how high the user desires to be in the cockpit. The back
pad is only a 1/2" thick, and uses Confor™ Foam padding. The Para-Cushion
Seat is recommended for use in airplanes where head room is not restricted and
(or) moving forward in the cockpit is not an option such as a Sky Bolt, a Yak 52
(both seats), Yak 55, Stearman, Great Lakes, Pitts S 2B (front seat), Decathlon,
and the rear seat of an RV-4. Comes with 26' Midlite canopy. Comes standard with
Fully Adjustable harness.

SQUADRON SEAT
The Squadron Seat
system's container measures 27" (67cm) tall by 17" (42cm) wide by
6.5" (16cm) thick under the seat, and weighs approximately 18 lbs.
(8kg).The Squadron Seat Pack was designed specifically for the bucket style seat
pan used in Warbirds such as the SN-J, T-6, T-34, T-28, P-51 and many others.
The pack and cushion combination are shaped to fit fully into the seat to
provide a large, stable, comfortable base for the pilot to sit. The harness is
fully adjustable in the main lift webs (vertical straps) as well as in the
pilot's lumbar area to ensure proper fit and support. The back and seat cushion
utilize Confor™ Foam padding for additional comfort and support. Comes with
26' Midlite canopy. Also available with 28' Aerosport canopy. Comes standard
with Fully Adjustable harness.
