    A symbol for a new age in harness container evolution. That was our goal while developing the Icon. Our sport is evolving, three dimensional body flight, speed skydiving, new formation skydiving techniques, record breaking efforts on all fronts; the envelope has expanded and we had to embrace all of this and more.
    Comfort, style, and options were a “given”, but the Icon had to be more. We had to develop new technology in order to address the current and future needs of skydivers around the world.
    Our development team had to consider many things that most of us would rather not think about. Possibilities like: unintentional reserve deployments at high speeds, high “g-force” spinning malfunctions of main canopies, among others. Not pleasant thoughts, but when designing a new harness/container system, we had to look at every aspect.
    We think you will like the result. The Icon not only provides you with a comfortable, reliable and, may we say, “good looking rig”, it also incorporates new technology, not found on any other system in the world.
    New innovative Aerodyne miniforce™ 3-ring system (patent pending)! We have developed the next generation 3-ring release. Constructed entirely from stainless steel, our new 3-ring system is specifically designed to reduce the force required for successful break away from a high g-load malfunction.
    New reserve deployment system! We have designed a line stow retention system, specifically designed to help control reserve deployments at high speeds, while not sacrificing low speed requirements. The skydiving industry agrees that poorly controlled suspension lines can be a major causative factor in hard openings. This technology, formerly found only on high altitude, high-speed military systems is now available to everyone in the Icon.
    New “Link-Stop” panels! These small panels, located inside the main container, prevent connector links from wrapping around or catching on the corner of the reserve container. Links that catch the reserve container or are wrapped around this corner, have resulted in anything from line twists and off-heading openings to tearing reserve containers out of rigs!
    New integrated soft link retainers built into all Aerodyne risers. This ingenious pocket provides a place to stow the ring or tab from all soft links. This not only eliminates the need for manual tacking of the soft link, but also protects the most vulnerable part of the soft link from potential damage.
